We Asked, You Said, We Did
Below are some of the issues we have recently consulted on and their outcomes.
- We Asked:
Whether the introduction of play facilities into this site would be supported by adjoining schools, residents and users. The vision was for predominantly natural adventure play with a woodland theme and bark mulch ground cover, an outdoor classroom and educational tree trail within the woodland to facilitate nature learning.
- You Said:
94% of respondents were in favour of the proposals. A number of specific questions were raised during the consultation and addressed by the Richmond Parks team.
- We Did:
The work began in January 2016 and the new play and educational facilities are planned to open to the public in Spring 2016.
During the consultation process, we ask for your feedback, you tell us and then we make positive changes. Public participation is key to our work. See what happens with We Asked, You Said, We Did.
